Puzzle No 124: Alphabet Sudoku

This would be the last puzzle for year 2014. I sincerely say "THANKS" to all of you who have supported me throughout the year solving my puzzles, testing it, encouraging me to create more. I hope you continue your support for my blog in coming years. 
With special day, I create a special puzzle for you all and wish you to have a Great Year ahead in 2015. I wish you in my style and it would be a Sudoku to Solve.

Creating a Alphabet Sudoku for first time, Hope you will like it and Enjoy it :)
I made this effort in the last 1 hr to go. Thanks to Prasanna for testing it in last minutes.

Rules:
Place alphabets "H A P Y N E W R O" in the grid such that each row,column and 3*3 box contain the alphabets only once.

Theme: Happy New Year [AOPW - 2015]

Puzzle No 123: Four Winds

Here is my first Four Winds Puzzle. Hope you will like it.

Rules:
Draw lines in any orthogonal direction from the given numbers so that each given number represents the number of connected cells (not including itself). Each empty cell is connected to exactly one of the given numbers. Lines cannot cross.

Puzzle No 122: Next to 9 Sudoku

I made this puzzle as Practice for upcoming contest "Sudoku Mahabharat: Episode 4" on Logic Masters India. It has nice starts. Hope you will like it.

Remember that you can solve this puzzle from the League  online on the Sudokucup Guest League page with a 24 hr delay.

Rules:
Place numbers in the grid such that each row,column and 3*3 box contain the numbers 1-9. Additionally the clues outside the grid indicate the numbers to be placed in the cells before and after the cell containing 9 (in any order) in the corresponding direction.

Puzzle No 121: Nurikabe

Now that, this friday Tom has posted for Daily League. I don't have to create a Sudoku in a fixed place ;)   So time for some change. Here is the Nurikabe I made.

Rules:
Shade some blank cells so that the grid is divided into white regions. Each white region contains exactly one numbered cell and has same area as the number. Two white regions may only touch each other diagonally. All shaded cells are connected to each other horizontally or vertically. Shaded cells do not form 2X2 squares.

Difficulty: Easy
